AMD launches its latest mid-range GPUs.

AMD announced the RX 6700XT yesterday. With the launch of the RX 6700XT AMD promises that more cards will be available for consumers. For instance, its’s been a while since the RX 6800 and RX 6800XT were launched. However, it is quite difficult to get the cards at their launch prices. The RX 6000 series will aim to solve the issue, and AMD has promised stocks will be refreshed every week.

The RX 6700XT features 40 compute units as compared to the 60 units on RX 6800 and 80 on the RX 6800XT. With a TDP of 230W, the cards come with 12GB of VRAM. AMD has promised that the cards at the highest settings at 1440p resolution. The card is quite suitable for professional eSports players as well. AMD claims the card can gethit 212 fps in Overwatch, 272 fps in League of Legends, and 360 fps in Rainbow Six Siege provided users are pairing it with an equally strong CPU.

Asus has today announced three variants of the RX 6700XT. These include, the ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, and ASUS Dual editions. At the top of the lineup, we have the ROG Strix Radeon 6700XT. The card is designed for enthusiasts and comes with the enhanced cooling system. Apart from the massive triple-slot heatsink, the card comes with three Axial-tech fans for improved cooling. There is a zero-dB mode which keeps the card quite under idle or low load conditions. With Aura Sync and ARGB support, the ROG Strix 6700XT is one of the most flashy cards out there.

In the middle, we have the ASUS TUF variant. The TUF Gaming lineup is known for providing superior cooling at affordable prices. In line with other components in TUF Gaming lineup, the cards come with extra-sturdy capacitors. Finally, the ASUS Dual variant is suitable for users looking for a well-balanced build.

The AMD Radeon RX 6700XT starts at Rs. 38,990, exclusive of GST. The pricing of the Asus cards are yet to be revealed.
