Asus recently unveiled the ROG Phone 5s and the ROG Phone 5s Pro in India. The smartphones were made available in Europe back last year. These new gaming smartphones have the previous generation flagship CPU – the Snapdragon 888+ and a 144Hz display onboard.

The ROG Phone 5s series is set to go on sale starting February 18th 2022. Let’s take a look at the ROG Phone 5s and the 5s Pro, their specifications, features, offers, sale date and price in India.

ROG Phone 5s, 5s Pro Sale in India

The ROG Phone 5s is launched in two memory and RAM configurations – the 8GB + 128GB storage option is priced at Rs 49,999, while the 12GB + 256GB costs Rs 57,999. The ROG Phone 5S Pro, on the other hand, featuring 18GB RAM and 512GB internal storage is set to go on sale for Rs 79,999.

Available colour options on both smartphones include Phantom Black and Storm White. The phones will go on sale starting tomorrow, 18th February at 12 PM in India via In the retail package of the Pro model, Asus will include its AeroActive Cooler attachment, which has twin physical trigger buttons.

ROG Phone 5s Series Specifications

The smartphones under the ROG Phone 5s series have a lot in common. These new phones boast a 6.78inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The touch latency is measured to be 24ms, according to Asus.

Under the hood, the smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 888+ SoC coupled with the Adreno 660 GPU. Fueling the device is a 6,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. The ROG Phone 5s Pro also includes an RGB light within the ROG logo and a ROG Vision Colour rear display.

On the rear, the handsets include a triple-camera configuration with a primary 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. On the front, there’s a 24MP selfie camera. The twin USB Type-C connectors — one on the side and one on the bottom edge – make charging and connecting simple.
