The ASUS ROG Phone 6 is launching on July 5 in the Chinese market. Ahead of the launch, the handset made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmark database which revealed the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Now, the upcoming ROG Phone 6 has been spotted on the TENAA certification website. The TENAA database listing reveals the overall look and key specifications of the device. Asus ROG Phone 6: Design
Asus appears to be continuing with the bold design language that we have seen on the ROG Phone in the past. However, this time the design appears to be a difference compared to last year’s ROG Phone 5.
The ROG Phone 6 back panel will house the triple rear camera module on the top left corner. All three camera lenses and the LED flash module will be placed in a horizontal array. The handset appears to have a rear display which will be located on the right of the back panel. The left bottom side of the back panel will house the ROG logo and Tencent branding.
Asus ROG Phone 6: What We Know So Far!
The specifications of the ROG Phone 6 were tipped by noted tipster Digital Chat Station recently. Most of these specifications are now confirmed in the TENAA listing. The listing reveals that the device will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. This will be a 165Hz refresh rate panel which will house the fingerprint scanner beneath.
The ROG Phone 6 will be equipped with a triple rear camera setup including a 64MP primary camera. For selfies and video calls, it will offer a 12MP shooter. The handset will be backed by a 5850mAh battery unit and 65W fast charging support. The ROG Phone 6 weighs 229grams and is about 10.39mm in terms of thickness. It will come with a 3.5mm audio jack as well.
