ASUS ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is launching very soon. The company has confirmed the launch of its new gaming smartphone worldwide on September 19. ASUS has also confirmed that the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will launch with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC under the hood. It will be the first ROG Phone to feature the new MediaTek flagship SoC. The new ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will be fairly similar to the ROG Phone 6 series launched earlier this year. Except for the processor, the device is likely to pack the same specs as the Snapdragon variants.

A new report has now revealed that the ROG Phone 6D series will include two smartphones. The company is said to launch the vanilla ROG Phone 6D alongside the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. Let’s take a look at the ASUS ROG Phone 6D series specifications, features and other details.

ASUS ROG Phone 6D Series Design Renders

ASUS ROG Phone 6D series will include two new gaming smartphones. The vanilla ROG Phone 6D will be accompanied by an Ultimate variant. A 91Mobiles report, citing tipster Evan Blass, has leaked the design renders of the two gaming phones from ASUS.

The ROG Phone 6D and the 6D Ultimate will be fairly similar to the Snapdragon variants, which were launched in June. Both models have slightly thick bezels at the top and bottom of the display. The top bezel houses the front camera and the earpiece. On the back, there is a triple-camera setup with support for 8K video recording. If the specs are the same, we can expect the devices to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP macro camera.

The D in the ROG Phone 6D series reportedly stands for Dimensity. The company has confirmed that the phones will feature a Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The 6D models are likely to offer up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The Ultimate variant will also feature ASUS’ ROG Vision display on the back.

At the front, both models are likely to sport a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate support. The display will have a peak brightness of 1200 nits and come with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. ASUS is also likely to pack the same 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support found in the Snapdragon variants. They will also come with support for several gaming accessories, such as the AeroActive Cooler 6 fan.

ASUS will announce the pricing and availability details at the event on September 19. We will share more details about the new gaming smartphones as and when available. Meanwhile, let us know your thoughts about the ASUS ROG Phone models in the comments section below.
