ASUS might launch the ROG Phone 7 series soon. The company is expected to launch multiple phones in the lineup, namely the ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate and ROG Phone 7D. The exact launch date of the phones is unknown at the moment. Reports suggest that the ROG Phone 7 series will launch in Q3 2023. If true, we are months away from the official launch of the new flagship gaming phones from ASUS. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 7 has been spotted on the TENAA website.

ASUS ROG Phone 7 Global Variant Listed on TENAA

The global variant of the ASUS ROG Phone 7 has been spotted on TENAA with the model number AI2205_B. It is expected to launch soon. The TENAA listing confirms the battery specifications of the phone. As per the listing, the ROG Phone 7 global variant will pack a 5850mAh battery under the hood. This could be the rated capacity of the phone and ASUS might market the typical capacity as 6000mAh. The same battery capacity has been seen in previous ROG gaming phones, including the most recent ROG Phone 6 series.

In addition to the battery capacity, the ROG Phone 7 global variant is confirmed to have four camera sensors in total. The phone is likely to sport a single front camera and a triple-camera setup on the back. Unfortunately, the listing does not reveal the specifications of the camera setup. There is support for multiple 5G bands as well, including n41, n78 and n79.

The ROG Phone 7 India variant was spotted on Geekbench, which confirmed that the phone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz. The device was listed with 16GB of RAM and Android 13. It is likely to have a layer of its own ROG Phone UI on top of Android.

The phone was also spotted on the 3C certification website, which revealed that it will support 65W fast charging out of the box. The ROG Phone 7 is expected to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate support and a Full HD+ resolution. Other details about the ROG Phone 7 series are unknown at the moment.
