ASUS ROG Phone 7 Pro Design Renders

The ASUS ROG Phone 7 Pro is set to launch on April 14 in various markets. Ahead of the launch, the gaming phone’s design has leaked online. The images shared by tipster EvLeaks reveal that the ROG Phone 7 Pro will look identical to the ROG Phone 6 Pro. The phone has slightly thick top and chin bezels for the stereo speaker setup. At the top left, there is the front camera. The phone’s side bezels continue to remain thin.

On the back, there is a triple-camera setup. The LED flash is placed next to the sensors. The text below the camera module confirms that the ROG Phone 7 series will support recording videos up to 8K. There will be a 1/1.56-inch primary camera sensor, which suggests that the rumours about the phone featuring a Sony IMX766 50MP main camera might be true.

We can also see the secondary display on the right side of the rear panel. The tiny display can be customised in the ROG Phone app. In addition to the phone’s design, the tipster also shared the images of the Aero Active Cooler, which is also available for the currently available models. The additional accessory is useful to bring down the phone’s temperature significantly.

The ROG Phone 7 series was spotted on Geekbench. It revealed that the phone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz. There will be at least 16GB of RAM on offer. We can expect ASUS to launch the phone with more RAM options. In terms of software, the ROG Phone 7 series will boot with Android 13 software out of the box. It will have a layer of ROG UI on top.
