ASUS might launch three ROG Phone 7 series smartphones.
The ROG Phone 7 in India will have the model number AI2205_C.

ASUS, last year,the ROG Phone 6 series in India and other markets. The ROG Phone 6 series included two phones, namely the ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro. These devices came with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The ROG Phone 6D series was launched with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. It has been a few months since the launch of the ROG Phone flagships and now the company has already started working on the ROG Phone 7 series.
A new report by The Tech Outlook has revealed the details about the ROG Phone 7 series lineup. Citing tipster Paras Guglani, the report has also revealed the model numbers of the devices. Let’s take a look at the ASUS ROG Phone 7 series specifications, features and other details known so far.
ASUS ROG Phone 7 Series Model Number, Lineup Details Tipped
ASUS ROG Phone 7 series is said to feature three smartphones this time around. The ROG Phone 7 will sit at the bottom of the lineup. According to the report, the ROG Phone 7 has the model number AI2205_A. The company will also launch the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, which will have the model number AI2205_E.
There will be a third ROG Phone 7D, which has the model number AI2205_D. The report claims that the ROG Phone 7D will launch alongside the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. The latter two have the model numbers AI2205_B and AI2205_F for the Chinese market.
The Indian variant of the ROG Phone 7 has the model number AI2205_C. The report claimed that the ROG Phone 7 series will launch in the third quarter of 2023.
All three devices will have the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The ROG Phone 7 is said to feature 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, on the other hand, will offer 512GB of internal storage. All three phones will get the latest Android 13 update out of the box. As expected, the phones will also feature an AMOLED display.
We can expect the phones to offer 165Hz refresh rate at least. The phones will also have some form of cooling mechanism to keep the thermals in check. The ROG Phone 7 series should also pack beefy batteries under the hood. The ROG Phone 6 series features a 6000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The same can be expected for the ROG Phone 7 series.
