ASUS ROG Phone 7 Specifications Tipped Ahead of April 13 Launch
The ASUS ROG Phone 7 will launch in various markets on April 13. Ahead of the launch, the vanilla model’s specs have leaked. According to the leaked details shared by tipster Digital Chat Station (via), the upcoming ROG Phone 7 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The device is said to feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0. The device was spotted on Geekbench with 16GB of RAM.
The tipster further revealed that the ROG Phone 7 will launch with the latest Android 13 update out of the box. There is a layer of ROG UI on top of Android.

On the front, the phone will have a 6.78-inch E4 AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The screen will refresh up to 165Hz and have an in-display fingerprint scanner. The ROG Phone 7 series was previously tipped to feature a display that can get as bright as 1300 nits. We can expect the screen to offer support for HDR10+ as well.
The rear panel will sport a triple-camera setup. It is said to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro camera sensor. For selfies, the phone will feature a 32MP front camera.
The ROG Phone 7 is said to pack a beefy 6000mAh battery. The charging speed is likely to remain capped at 65W globally. Due to the beefy battery and other hardware packed inside, the ROG Phone 7 is likely to be on the heavier side. The phone could weigh below 240 grams. It is also said to get an IP54 rating for basic protection against water and dust.
In terms of pricing, the base model of the ROG Phone 7 is said to be priced at CNY 3999 (roughly Rs 47,800). The India pricing of the gaming phone could be a bit higher.
The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is said to launch in India as well. It is tipped to pack 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. There could be some hardware differences other than the RAM and storage option.
