The Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition gaming laptop has been launched in India. The new variant of Asus’ RGB LED overload-edition gaming laptop now features the best processor and graphics chips from the AMD stable, and makes for one of the most premium, new generation gaming laptops in the market — with a clear cost advantage in terms of what the latest gaming laptops with the higher spec Nvidia RTX 30 series GPUs cost in the market. Performance is tipped to be at par, enough for gamers to enjoy AAA titles without any hindrance.

Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition: price and availability
The ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition is priced at Rs 1,54,990, and will be made available only in one SKU in India. The laptop will be up for sale via any Asus ROG Store or an Asus authorised retailer, e-commerce platform Flipkart, and multi-brand retailers Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay Sales. Announced today, the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition will be available from August 11.

The ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition is powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU, which is billed to be one of the most powerful laptop CPUs in the market right now. It comes with the AMD Radeon RX 6800M to power graphics duties, and comes with 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The laptop features 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and has two slots, which can therefore be expanded up to 32GB. In terms of storage, the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage comes with a 1TB PCIe SSD, but has two slots for M.2 storage expansion — hence supporting up to 2TB local storage.
The ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition also comes with a 15.6-inch, WQHD 2K+ IPS display with 16:9 aspect ratio, 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 165Hz refresh rate with 3ms response time. The display specifications are at par with what gamers would expect from premium gaming devices. The setup is powered by a 280W power adapter, which charges up a 90Wh battery. It is compatible with USB-C Power Delivery charging as well.
In terms of ports, the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage features three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (with DisplayPort and Power Delivery support), one Ethernet port, one HDMI 2.0b port and a 3.5mm audio (combo) port. It also features a two-speaker audio configuration, with Dolby Atmos audio enhancement integrated.
