ASUS has refreshed its ROG Strix Scar and Zephyrus lineup of gaming laptops in India. The new lineup consists of Strix Scar 16, Strix Scar 17, Strix Scar 18, Zephyrus M16, and Zephyrus Duo 16. ASUS has announced the starting prices of each model and availability in India. The prices start from Rs 2,79,990 for the base Rog Strix Scar 16 and go up to Rs 4,29,990 for the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16. ASUS ROG Strix Scar 16,17,18: Specifications, Features
As you can tell from the names, ASUS ROG Strix Scar 16,17,18 feature 16-inch, 17-inch, and 18-inch displays, respectively, with up to QHD resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. The Strix Scar 16 and 18 are powered by Intel Core 13th gen processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 series GPU. On the other hand, the Strix Scar 17 comes with up to AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU. All three laptops support DDR5 RAM and a keyboard that supports per-key RGB customization. They all come with Aura Sync support for gaming aesthetics.
ASUS Zephyrus M16, Duo 16: Specifications, Features
ASUS Zephyrus M16 and Duo 16 flaunt a 16-inch QHD display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. The latter also gets an additional smaller display. The primary display features 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, Dolby Vision support, Pantone Validation, and up to 1100 nits of peak brightness.
The M16 is powered by up to Intel Core i9-13900H processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. It comes with DDR5 RAM for impressive multitasking. Additionally, there is an LED back panel that can be customised with the Anime Matrix app. The laptop also offers an FHD webcam with 3DNR noise reduction and IR technology.
The Duo 16 is in the AMD brigade with AMD Ryzen 7000 series Dragon Range processors, the first mobile series processors based on chiplet design. These chipsets are based on AMD’s new Zen 4 architecture and TSMC’s 5nm fabrication. The laptop flaunts a 90Wh battery that can be charged by the included 330W adapter, through the conventional DC plug, or both of the 100W PD charge-enabled Type-C ports.
