Asus, a brand that is now synonymous with gamers around the globe, is now expanding its portfolio in India by introducing the ROG Zephyrus M16 2022 model. This new gaming laptop, as expected, is packed with the newest processor, ample RAM and other powerful innards, offering an overall better gaming experience. The laptop also aims to deliver a robust experience to creators and streamers as the company is pitching this product at the centre of speed, power and portability.
Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 2022 Price and Availability
Asus has priced its Zephyrus M16 2022 laptop at Rs 1,79,990 for the base model. Gamers can get their hands on it from April 8 on Asus e-shop, Amazon, Flipkart and offline channels including Croma, Reliance and Vijay Sales.
Asus seems to be really doubling down on the gaming laptop market in India this year. The launch of ROG Zephyrus M16 2022 comes a few weeks after the Taiwanese firm introduced ROG Strix Scar 15, 17, Strix G15, and G17 in India with Intel 12th-gen and AMD SoCs. In March itself, the firm launched TUF F15, F17, TUF A15, and A17 in the country. Such an aggressive approach by the company should definitely be a concern for rivals in the same segment like HP and Lenovo.

Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 2022 Specifications
Diving into the specifications of Zephyrus M16 2022, Asus is offering it in two variants based on CPUs – 12th-Gen Intel Core i9-12900H and Core i7-12700H. In terms of GPU, the gaming laptop is bifurcated into three variants – Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080Ti, RTX 3070Ti and RTX 3060. All the models have a MUX switch as well that lets gamers easily switch between GPUs to maximise performance or battery life. This is combined with up to 32GB DDR5 RAM (upgradeable up to 48GB with 16GB onboard memory).
On the storage front, ROG Zephyrus M16 2022 gets up to 1x M2 2280 PCIe 4.0 2TB SSD (included) along with the support for 2x M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots. The connectivity options are also ample for gamers including Thunderbolt 4 (USB 4.0, DP 1.4 and PD 3.0), USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, MicroSD card reader, Kensington Lock, Kensington Lock, RJ45 and 3.5mm audio jack.
Zephyrus M16 2022 brings a 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) IPS screen tech with 16:10 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 100% colour gamut, 500 nits brightness and 3ms response time. Some added features here are Adaptive sync, Pantone validation and Dolby Vision. With a total of six speakers (2 x 2W dual-force woofer with Smart Amp Technology + 2 x 2W tweeter), the gaming laptop is backed by a 90Whr battery and weighs around 2kgs.
