Now, the Taiwanese smartphone is inching closer for the launch of the Zenfone 8Z (aka Zenfone 8) series in India.
Asus India business head Dinesh Sharma has revealed in a tweet that the Asus team is working towards the launch of the Zenfone 8 lineup, and Asus will soon announce the official launch date of the Zenfone 8 series for the Indian market. Apart from these details, Asus also has made the teaser page of the Zenfone 8 live on its official India website, which does suggest that the launch of the Zenfone 8 lineup in India might take place soon. To recall, the Zenfone 8 features a 5.9-inch Samsung-made E4 AMOLED display with Full HD+ pixel resolution. The display panel has an 1100 nits peak brightness, and a 120HZ refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. The device comes in 6GB/8GB/16GB RAM options along with 128GB/256GB storage. It runs Android 11 out of the box. Similar to the Zenfone 8, the Zenfone 8 Flip comes powered with Snapdragon 888 SoC. The smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and has 256GB of internal storage. The device has a flip camera mechanism similar to that of the Zenfone 7 Pro. The Zenfone 8 sports a 64MP primary main camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and 8MP telephoto camera that has 3x optical zoom. The Zenfone 8 and the Zenfone 8 Flip are equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Zenfone 8 Flip draws power from a 5000mAh battery which has 30W fast-charging support.
