ASUS has officially announced the Zenfone 8 lineup as promised earlier. The newly announced Zenfone 8 series consists of two smartphones – the Zenfone 8 and the Zenfone 8 Flip. Speaking about the base vanilla model, it sports a 5.9-inch AMOLED 120Hz display and is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. The device ships with up to 16GB of RAM and packs 256GB of internal storage. As far as the specs of the Zenfone 8 Flip go, it features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has a 90Hz refresh rate. The Zenfone 8 Flip retains the flip camera mechanism as that of the Zenfone 7 Pro that consists of a 64MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto camera that has 3x optical zoom. The ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip comes in Glacier Silver and Galactic Black colour options. The Zenfone 8 Flip will retail for around EUR 799 (Rs 71,023) for which you get 8GB RAM and a 256GB storage model. Both these handsets will be available for pre-order today in Europe and Taiwan markets.

The ASUS Zenfone 8 sports a 5.9-inch Samsung-made E4 AMOLED display that has Full HD+ pixel resolution, 1100 nits peak brightness, and a 120HZ refresh rate. Powering the device under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset that is aided with Adreno 660 GPU. The phone is available in 6GB/8GB/16GB RAM options along with 128GB/256GB storage. Similar to the Zenfone 8, the Zenfone 8 Flip also packs the same Snapdragon 888 SoC. The device packs up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It runs Android 11 out of the box. As the name suggests, the Zenfone 8 Flip sports a flip camera mechanism similar to that of the Zenfone 7 Pro. The camera module consists of a 64MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and 8MP telephoto camera that has 3x optical zoom. Both the Zenfone 8 and the Zenfone 8 Flip are equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
