Asus launched the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 in April this year and the company has managed to sell over a million units of the popular device since then. This does not come as a surprise as the smartphone packs some impressive specifications and features at an incredibly low price. The company hasn’t revealed which storage variant contributed the most to achieve this number. Pricing and Availability

The base variant of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage comes with a price in India of Rs. 10,999, while the storage variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage is priced at Rs. 12,999. The most expensive variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage along with upgraded camera units sells for Rs. 14,999. The company has also announced that it will offer the Zenfone Max Pro M1 at a discounted price during the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale.

Snapdragon 636 Processor

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset clocked at 1.8 GHz with an Adreno 509 for handling the graphics. For a budget smartphone, Snapdragon 636 is a great option. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 is one of the cheapest smartphones with this chipset. The processor coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM ensures glitch-free performance while multitasking and smooth sailing while performing day-to-day tasks.

ASUS claims that the Zenfone Max Pro M1 offers up to 20 hours of YouTube playback, 12hrs of gaming time and up to 42 hours of 3G talk time. The smartphone offers two options in the optics department, based on the storage variant. The 4GB and 3GB RAM variant of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with a 13MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the back, while the 6GB RAM variant of the device gets an upgraded 16MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the back. However, all the three storage variants can shoot videos at up to 4K Ultra HD resolution. On the front, the 4GB and 3GB RAM variants bear an 8MP sensor at the front.
