ASUS recently launched its latest Zenfone Max Pro M2 in Russia. Going by its price in that country, the max M2 Pro seems to be a solid mid-range smartphone. The handset is expected to launch in India on December 17 at price under Rs 20,000. The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart. Alongside, the ASUS Zenfone Max M2 is also going to launch on the same date. And here are a few reasons why it will be a phone worth waiting for:

With almost thirty years of legacy in the tech industry, ASUS clearly has a knack for neat industrial design. And that experience is evident in the Zenfone Max Pro M2. The handset can give any premium handset a run for its money. It has a sturdy metal frame sandwiched between glass panels on both sides. For more durability, ASUS has opted for Corning’s industry leading Gorilla Glass 6. All in all, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 is one of the best-looking phone in its class.

The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 packs-in a massive 5000mAh battery. That’s an impressive capacity for a handset that weighs-in at only 170 grams. The Max Pro M2 has a thin-bezel design with a notch screen design. For a mid-range phone, the Max Pro M2 offers impressive 83 percent screen-to-body ratio. The 6.3-inch screen dimensions of 2280×1080 pixel. The Full HD+ display has a 19:9 tall aspect ratio. Since it is an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel, you can expect wide viewing angles and better color reproduction compared to regular LCDs. It comprises of a 12 MP rear camera with a 5 MP sensor to keep it a company. The main camera uses optics from Sony with f/1.8 aperture and 1.25μm pixel size. As a result, you get superior low-light performance and can also experiment with bokeh effect. For selfies, there’s a 13 MP front snapper. Powered by Qualcomm’s tried-and-trusted Snapdragon 660 chipset, the Max Pro M2 promises smooth smartphone experience. Based on the 14 nm tech, it is packed with four Kryo 260 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and four Kryo 260 cores running at 1.8 GHz. It is certainly not the most powerful hardware you can get at this price tag, but enough to get you through daily tasks with a breeze. The Adreno 512 GPU would also let you enjoy demanding games such as PUBG Mobile at medium settings. Just don’t expect it to match the performance of Poco’s F1, and you won’t be disappointed.
