AirPods 4: Features
Apple has introduced the latest generation of its popular AirPods, the AirPods 4. Featuring a redesigned structure and replaceable ear tips, these earbuds aim to provide a more comfortable fit for a wider range of users.
A significant upgrade in the higher-end model is the inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), a feature previously exclusive to the AirPods Pro. This is said to allow for a more immersive listening experience by reducing background noise. Both models offer wireless charging and a USB Type-C port for convenient recharging.
The premium version of the AirPods 4 also boasts built-in speakers in the charging case, making it easier to locate the earbuds using Apple’s Find My app. Powered by the H2 chip, both models deliver enhanced audio quality, personalised spatial audio, and improved voice isolation. For added convenience, gesture-based Siri controls allow users to respond to Siri’s questions with a simple nod.
Apple claims the AirPods 4 can offer up to 30 hours of battery life. The company is positioning these earbuds as the “most comfortable AirPods ever,” a claim that will be put to the test as they become available to consumers.
AirPods Max: Features
The new AirPods Max has five new colours: midnight, starlight, blue, orange, and purple. The headphones also come with a USB Type-C port.
Other features remain similar to that of the OG AirPods Max. This includes support for high-fidelity sound, Spatial Audio, Adaptive EQ, ANC, and much more.
