Krafton brought back PUBG Mobile back to India in the form of Battlegrounds Mobile India. Popularly known as BGMI, the battle royale was reintroduced with some minor changes to promote a healthy gaming environment. Since its release, BGMI has received an overwhelming response. The official Google Play Store listing reveals that more than 5 crore downloads have taken place since the game was launched in India. The developers have been releasing new updates, some of which are exclusive to Indian players. The latest Battlegrounds Mobile India update introduces PayLoad 2.0, which was announced last month. Let’s take a look at the new BGMI update released for players on Android and iOS devices.
Battlegrounds Mobile India PayLoad 2.0 update
Krafton has released a new BGMI update for players on Android and iOS. The new update introduces new modes and features. Krafton had previously confirmed the arrival of the new Payload 2.0 mode last month itself. The new update makes the new mode available in the Evoground tab of BGMI on the left corner.
Payload 2.0 introduces new weapons like an armoured car, helicopter, etc., which feature “super weapons” to help players beat opponents during the match.
The new BGMI update also brings a new Virus Infection mode. This match has three different rounds, wherein players have to kill zombies and other players to win the match. Zombies can pick boosters or infect humans to become the more powerful Zombie King in Level Three.
The new update follows the previous October update, which introduced many new modes and maps like Metro Royale, Vikendi, Runic Power and Survive Till Dawn. Krafton has also introduced a special Diwali in-game event for players. They can participate in the event by finishing missions and collecting lamps, which then can be exchanged for in-game rewards. These include the Classic Crate coupon scraps, 100 AG, BP crates and a Cool Cat Set.
