It’s time for Varun Dhawan and Jhanvi Kapoor fans to rejoice. We have already told you that Amazon Prime Video will release Varun Dhawan and Jhanvi Kapoor starrer Bawaal sometime in July. Now the streamer has announced the official release date of the movie.
It is coming on the streaming giant’s platform on July 21. We have also told you that the movie will be released directly on OTT skipping theatrical release. Defending their decision of releasing it directly on OTT, the movie creators had claimed that the movie has a global appeal with an Indian outlook and it needs to be showcased globally. The movie will be released in all 240 countries and territories in which Amazon Prime Video operates.
When and Where to Watch Bawaal
Amazon Prime Video earlier announced that it will be directly releasing the romantic love story between Varun Dhawan and Jhanvi Kapoor in July and now it has announced the release date to be July 21. Viewers will need to have a subscription to the streaming giant to watch the romantic movie.

Official Trailer and Plot
The movie’s teaser was also made available on Prime Video along with the release date announcement. It was clear from the start that the movie is based on the love story between the protagonists.
The teaser starts with Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan’s love blossoming, then Jhanvi slapping Varun and deciding to part ways. The preview has Janhvi’s voice stating, “Maine apne rishte ko samajhne mein itna waqt lagadia, jab samjha to khone ka waqt aa chuka tha.” The end of the teaser shows Jhanvi and Varun being dragged away from each other and a door is closed between them.
In addition to Varun Dhawan and Jhanvi Kapoor, Parth Siddhpura, Shashie Verma, Arnob Khan Akib, and numerous others also appear in the film in supporting roles. The film is directed by “Dangal” fame Nitesh Tiwari. The film is made in cooperation between Sajid Nadiadwala’s production company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh’s Earthsky Pictures.
Reception
The teaser of the movie was released barely hours ago and it has registered 229,739 views, which shows the hype it has created among the actor’s fans and other audiences.
