Asphalt 9 was released for Android back in 2018, but it has still managed to stay fresh and relevant. That is a testament to how good the game is.
It introduced a new autopilot mode called “TouchDrive”, which made hard racing redundant, making way for simple swipes for controlling the car. You still get the traditional Tap to Steer and Tilt to Steer controls, which you can switch back to from settings.
Like all the racing games, you start with a lower-class card, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, which is a Class D car. The classes vary from Class D, Class C, Class B, Class A and Class S. The classes feature cars with progressively higher performance and price.
