The official major event of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), BGIS Season 2 has entered its Semi-Finals stage today and now it is down to 32 teams to decide the sixteen spots in the Grand Finals. Sixteen teams from Quarter Finals Round 4 and sixteen teams from the Losers Bracket have made it to the second last stage of BGIS 2023. Day 1 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) Semi-Finals begins on October 4, 2023.

BGIS Losers Bracket featuring 64 teams, split into four groups of 16 teams each have concluded. The top 4 teams from each group have qualified for the Semi-Finals to fight alongside the other 16 teams qualified from the Quarter Finals Round 4. The Semi-Finals will decide the 16 finalists which will advance to the Grand Finals which boasts a prize pool of Rs 2 Crore.

Format and Schedule 

The semi-finals will be held from October 4 to October 7, with 32 teams divided equally into four groups of eight competing in a round-robin format. Each matchday will have six matches. The top 16 teams will advance to the Grand finals, which will be held offline in Mumbai on October 12, 13 and 15, 2023. 

Soul, Blind, Gladiators, and Gods Reign have all been in excellent form in recent weeks.

Some of the more experienced teams, such as Velocity Gaming and the Hyderabad Hydras, have been ousted from the competition. Several emerging teams, including Nade Official, Burnx Official, and Acid Esports, dominated the initial phases of BGIS 2023 but were unable to make it to the Semi-Finals.

Fans will be keeping an eye open for teams like Soul, Insane, Blind Esports, Gladiator Esports, and Gods Reign, as they have consistently performed well in all previous rounds, They would expect them to continue to dominate the Semi-Finals and advance to the Grand Finals.
