Dplus Kia are the crowned champions of BGMI India - Korea Invitational.

BGMI India-Korea Invitational, a unique kind of Esports celebration event hosted by Krafton INC, has marked its end on Saturday (October 28). Dplus Kia from South Korea have emerged as the champions with domination. The team accumulated a total of 217 points with five chicken dinners and 92 finishes.

The tournament concluded after a three-day-long run and it featured eight teams from Korea and India competing in various titles including BGMI, Real Cricket 22, and Road to Valor: Empires. The event was held at Pragati Maidan, Delhi with a live audience of 12000+ which served as a medium for the exchange of passion for gaming between countries. 

Senior government officials and key personalities attended the three-day celebration, including Chang Jae-bok, Korean Ambassador to India, Nivruti Rai, MD and CEO of Invest India, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Indian national football team goalkeeper, and Yuzvendra Chahal, Indian cricketer, among honorable members of the parliament and others from the Sports Authority of India.

Over the course of three days of intense action, 16 BGMI teams competed in a total of 15 matches and the results are as follows: 

  • Dplus Kia – 271 points
  • Gods Reign – 171 points
  • Em Tek StormX – 153 points
  • Blind Esports – 131 points
  • Revenant Esports – 116 points
  • Eagle Owls – 107 points
  • Gladiators Esports – 100 points
  • Nongshim RedForce -100 points
  • TWM Gaming – 99 points
  • Medal Esports – 99 points
  • Team ZZ – 98 points
  • Duksan Esports  – 97 points
  • Team ROX – 95 points
  • Big Brother Esports – 86 points
  • Maru Gaming – 50 points
  • Team XSpark – 45 points

Dplus KIA won the BGMI India vs Korea Invitational 2023 with a strong performance. Krafton gave them a cash reward of RS 40 lakhs (about $48K). Their standout athlete Nolbu received the MVP award for his outstanding performance, while Favian was named the best IGL.

It was team GodReign who emerged as the runner-ups in the event with 171 points and 2 chicken dinners. The popular team took home a prize reward of Rs 20 lakhs while Emtek StormX claimed the third spot with a prize reward of Rs 10 lakhs.

Team Blind and Revenant Esports concluded the event by taking up the fourth and fifth spots respectively. BGIS 2023 and BGMS Season 2 Champions Gladiators Esports had an average event as they secured seventh place. 

Big Brother Esports who came second in BGIS 2023 ended up in the fourteenth place. Team XSpark who are the second runner-ups of BGIS 2023 finished last in this event.

The tournament was telecasted live on Krafton India Esports YouTube Channle and Jio Cinema in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Bengali, Mizo, Kannada, Tamil, Gujarati and Telugu.

The tournament also featured Real Cricket 22 which was won by Jayesh Laljibhai Kotadiya and received a Rs 5 lakhs prize reward while Team Titan Claw won Road to Valor: Empires and took home Rs 40K in prize money.
