BGMI India Series 2021: OR Esports Still in the Lead after Day 4

BGMI Series 2021 The Grind Week 1 comes to a close.

BGMI Series 2021

This last weekend saw the 32 invited teams battle it out in the iQOO Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Series 2021, and at the end of Day 4, OR Esports manages to clinch the top spot. This officially concludes the end of the League Stage of The Grind, and it will resume on 9 December 2021, Thursday.

OR Esports dropped down to fourth during the weekend, but at the end of Day 4, on the back of a string of great performances, they managed to get back up to the spot and come away with the most amount of points. Thus, it might be fair to suggest that OR Esports currently are riding on a ton of momentum from The Grid Week 1, which they will be sure to carry over into Week 2 and hopefully, to the Final Stage of iQOO Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Series 2021.

So as it stands, at the end of the League Stage, Orangutan Gaming managed to climb back up the rankings after a stumble during the weekend to finish second place, while Hyderabad Hydras dropped back to third place and finished in the same.

Orangutan Gaming actually managed to come away with the most number of WWCDs (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner), at 3 but had to concede the top spot to OR Esports who clinched the top spot on the back of their 66 finishes and 2 WWCDs. Team Forever also had a great showing in The Grind Week 1, coming away with a massive 69 Finishes and 1 WWCD.

It will be interesting to see what kind of adjustments the teams will make going into Week 2 and whether teams like OR Esports and Orangutan Gaming will be able to hold on to their streak of dominance.
