BGMI India Series: 32 Teams and Their Groups for The Grind Announced

The 4 groups have now been revealed for The Grind - Week 1.


iQOO Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Series 2021 is just around the corner and the dates for The Grind have now been confirmed, along with the groups in which the teams will be competing. The Grind Week 1 kicks off on 2 December 2022 and the 32 invited teams will be divided into 4 groups of 8.

The Grind is in place to determine which of the 32 invited teams will compete in the tournament along with the players coming through from the In-Game Qualifiers. A total of 1024 teams will compete in Round 1 of iQOO Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Series 2021 after the In-Game Qualifiers and The Grind Week 2. The 8 groups have now been revealed, and it looks there’s about to be a lot of interesting matchups come game time.

Players who will be qualifying through the In-Game Qualifiers will have to play 15 matches with registered team members over the scheduled time period. Out of the 15 matches, the 10 best matches will be considered for evaluation and scored accordingly. iQOO Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 2021 has a massive prize pool of Rs 1,00,00,000 – with First Place taking home a massive Rs 50,00,000 while Second Place comes away with Rs 25,00,000.

Along with the top teams taking away massive cash prizes, there are also other individual awards and prizes such as MVP (Most Valuable Player) bagging Rs 1,00,000 and Lone Ranger taking away Rs 50,000.
