Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar is all set to put the OTT world on fire with his other flick after Walter Veeraiya. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comedy-action drama Bhola Shankar hit the big screens worldwide on August 11.
Bhola Shankar’s digital streaming rights were purchased by OTT juggernaut Netflix at a respectable sum. Five weeks after any film’s theatrical premiere, it usually makes its OTT debut. Bhola Shankar is also in the same manner coming on Netflix in the fifth week. The makers have specified September 15 as the start date for streaming.

Bhola Shankar Official Trailer and Plot
Just like Vedalam, the movie is made for Chiranjeevi. According to the official synopsis, “After helping the police uncover a smuggling ring, a former mobster who is now a taxi driver accidentally attracts the wrath of a criminal organization. He starts a persistent search to find the mobsters involved, driven by a fierce desire for justice and to protect his adopted sister.
Chiranjeevi stars in Bhola Shankar with the accomplished actors Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah. Meher Ramesh, who also created the screenplay for the movie, also directed it. For Bhola Shankar, Mamidala Thirupathi wrote the dialogue. The film was edited by Marthand K Venkatesh, and Dudley operated the camera. The film’s music and background score were created by Mahathi Swara Sagar. The film was funded by Ramabrahman Sunkara and KS Rama Rao under the AK Entertainment and Creative Commercials umbrella.

Reception of Bhola Shankar
Even before the movie’s release, the enthusiasm and energy surrounding Chiranjeevi’s movie were not seen. Even the movie’s creators engaged in understated advertising. After its premiere, Bhola Shankar received negative reviews for being a rote drama with stale humour and a dated plot. Even IMDB has rated the movie 3.2/10.
