India’s popular budget consumer electronics brand boAt has launched a new smartwatch named Lunar Comet. The company’s latest budget smartwatch joins recently released models like Wave Comet, Ultima Vogue, Wave Genesis, and Enigma X-series. The latest release includes features like Bluetooth calling, an IP67 rating, a functional crown, and multiple strap options.
boAt Lunar Comet Price and Availability
The boAt Lunar Comet smartwatch is priced at Rs 1,299 in India. It will be sold via Amazon and boAt’s official website starting September 30 at 12 PM IST. The watch can be purchased in Deep Purple, Active Black, Royal Orange, and Olive Green colours. It has a Metal Gray variant too but it is exclusive to the metal strap variant.
boAt Lunar Comet Specifications and Features
The boAt Lunar Comet sports a 1.39-inch HD display with 240 x 240 pixels resolution. It has a round dial and the panel can light up to 500 nits. It supports Wake Gesture so that you can simply lift your hand to wake the display instead of pressing the button. You also get over 100 watch faces to choose from.
The smartwatch has a functional crown on the right side. It can be used to navigate the smartwatch, browse apps, and access various options and menu settings. The key highlight of the boAt Lunar Comet is Bluetooth calling.
It means you can use the smartwatch to make and receive phone calls. It has an in-built microphone and speakers. A user can save up to 10 contacts directly on the smartwatch. It also offers a native dial pad so that you do not have to take out your smartphone to make a new call.
The smartwatch has more than 100 sports modes. These help you track all sorts of physical activities including your gym workouts, running, walking, and cycling. It is packed with various health-related features as well. You can use it to track your sleep, heart rate, SpO2 level, and daily activities.
The boAt Lunar Comet has menstrual tracking for women to keep track of their menstrual cycles. It further offers Sedentary reminders which simply remind you to perform some activity if you have been idle for long. Other noteworthy features include camera control, music control, stopwatch, weather, find my phone, alarm, DND, and countdown.
