boAt Lifestyle has refreshed its Wave lineup of budget smartwatches with a new launch. The latest offering from the company is the Wave Call 2 which comes just a week after the Wave Fury. The latest smartwatch comes with a big display and 5-day battery life. It has various sports modes, a DIY watch face studio, an IP67 rating, Bluetooth calling, live sports scores, and more.

boAt Wave Call 2 Price and Availability

boAt has priced the Wave Call 2 at Rs 1,299 which is an introductory pricing. It is unknown for how long this price will be in effect. The smartwatch is available for purchase via the boAt website and will go on sale on Amazon India tomorrow i.e. July 15. Its colour options are Cherry Blossom, Cool Gray, Orchid Haze, Silver Metal, and Active Black.

The first thing that you will notice about the boAt Wave Call 2 is that it has a square-ish dial and a functional crown. This crown is on the right side and will help you interact with menus and options. There is a huge 1.83-inch HD display with 240 x 284 pixels resolution. It supports Wake Gesture where you can move your wrist to wake up the display.


The smartwatch boasts an in-built microphone, speakers, and ringtones for Bluetooth calling purposes. It has a dial pad that allows you to dial numbers directly from the smartwatch. You can also save contacts natively on the wearable. If you love to play around with watch faces, you will not be disappointed as boAt is claiming a collection of more than 1,000 watch faces. Its DIY Watch Face Studio will let you tweak watch faces so that you can make your watch look unique.

There are over 700 Active Modes that will let you track various activities. It further offers heart-rate monitoring, SpO2 monitoring, a daily activity tracker, sedentary reminder, and support for Google Fit and Apple Health. boAt says its users can earn boAt Coins by achieving wellness goals and completing challenges.
