The home-grown has launched two new smartwatches under the boAt Ultime and boAt Wave series. boAt has launched these smartwatches under the boAt Wave Comet and boAt Ultima Vogue monikers. People who follow boAt’s product lineup can understand that they unveil budget smartwatches under the Wave series.
In contrast, the Ultima series targets consumers who wish to spend a little extra for the added features. The recently debuted boAt Genesis smartwatch came with an HD display and an Apple Watch Ultra 2 inspired design. boAt Wave Comet: Pricing, Availability, Features and Specifications
boAt has launched the boAt Wave Comet smartwatch in Active Black, Deep Purple, Olive Green, and Royal Orange colour options. The home-grown brand also debuts the smartwatch in the Metal Grey colour variant, which offers a metallic strap. The company has launched the Wave Connect smartwatch at an introductory price of Rs 1,299.
The smartwatch will be available for purchase through Amazon India and boAt’s proprietary website. boAt reveals that the introductory pricing of the smartwatch will be valid for 24 hours from 12 PM, September 30. boAt equips the boAt Wave Comet smartwatch with a 1.39-inch HD display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels and a peak brightness of 550 nits.
boAt Wave Comet smartwatch features a circular design with a functional rotating crown and support for multiple customized watch faces. The device gets IP67 water and dust resistance and Bluetooth calling support. The smartwatch runs on Crest OS and is compatible with boAt’s in-house app.
boAt has equipped the smartwatch to track heart rate, SpO2, daily activity tracker, female health and sedentary remainder. The watch also gets support for common smartwatch features, including weather, DND, Find My Phone, alarm, countdown, stopwatch, camera and music control.
boAt Ultima Vogue: Pricing, Availability, Features and Specifications
In contrast, the boAt Ultima Vogue smartwatch is launched in Jet Black, Beige, and Deep Blue colour options. boAt has also launched the smartwatch in a leather strap and metallic strap variants, which go under the Brown Leather and Metal Black names. The home-grown brand has debuted the regular and leather strap variants at Rs 2,999.
The metallic strap variant is priced at Rs 3,299, and all the variants will be available through Amazon India and boAt’s website. The product is already live on sale and can be grabbed with some discounts in the upcoming sales. boAt Ultima Vogue smartwatch features a higher 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels.
The display has a peak brightness of 600 nits and features support for 100 plus customizable watch faces. The standard versions of the smartwatch resemble the vanilla Apple Watches. boAt equips the device with a functional crown and Bluetooth calling support. A 240mAh battery with seven-day battery life backs the device. Other features of the smartwatch remain the same in comparison to boAt Wave Comet.
