BSNL, the state-owned telecom operator is reportedly losing its wired broadband customer base across the country. Meanwhile, the wireless subscriber base of the telco is also not growing rapidly like Airtel and Jio. To entice more subscribers BSNL has now introduced a new Cinema Plus service that bundles most of the major OTT subscriptions in a single pack. BSNL has made an official announcement about these add-on packs and all the packs will fall under Cinema Plus pack. Here’s a closer look at the newly launched BSNL Cinema Plus service.
According to the company, the Cinema Plus is served by YuppTV Scope Entertainment with a renamed version and entirely owned by YuppTV. Currently, the Cinema Plus pack is exclusively available to existing BSNL Broadband users starting at Rs 129 per month.
BSNL Cinema Plus Benefits
The BSNL Cinema Plus pack used to be available as YuppTV Scope Entertainment Pack which is now available as Entertainment pack. The pack comes with a price tag of Rs 129 per month and offers four OTT subscriptions including YuppTV, ZEE5, SonyLIV, and Voot. The price of the Cinema Plus pack is Rs 199 for one month but the company is offering it for Rs 129 under a promotional offer.
The YuppTV subscription offers more than 100 Live TV channels and ZEE5 comes with more than 80 Live TV channels, 500+ TV series, original TV shows, and more than 2000 movies in different languages. While SonyLIV offers 15+ Live TV channels and 200+ movies and Voot comes with access for more than 35 Live TV channels and 400+ movies.
BSNL Cinema Plus pack subscribers need to download the YuppTV Scope app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to watch free content on their smartphones. Meanwhile, you can also access the YuPPTV Scope app on your Android TV and Amazon FireTV to watch content on the big screen.
