One of the things that set BSNL as a telecom operator apart is the fact that it has a plethora of prepaid plans for its customers. No doubts the other telcos have a variety of plans too, but the amount of plans BSNL has up its sleeves simply dwarfs all of them. This helps the customers choose the plan that suits their needs and ensures that they don’t have to pay for something that they don’t really need. It has been observed lately that BSNL has been pretty active in introducing new plans and even reviving some of the old plans that were taken down for some reason. The same is the case with the recently reincarnated INR 1,999 prepaid recharge plan from BSNL. Alongside that, the company has also introduced several new plans across the various regions of the country and we will talk about all of them in detail.
BSNL INR 1,999 prepaid plan sees new life: Here’s what you get with it
Starting up with the most important deal, the INR 1,999 prepaid plan from BSNL has got revived. If you go for the plan, you will get to enjoy free calls up to 250 minutes per day, 3GB of 4G data per day (post FUP speed being 80Kbps). free PRBT with unlimited song change, and SonyLIV subscription for free. The validity of the INR 1,999 prepaid plan by BSNL stands at 365 days. Well, that’s certainly not it. There are certain other plans and revisions the company has introduced:
- INR 97 prepaid plan: With the INR 97 prepaid plan, users get 2GB of daily data, up to 250 minutes of free voice calling, and a validity of 18 days. The plan is introduced in Chennai, Tamil Nadu circle.
- INR 998 STV: The INR 998 plan comes with 240 days validity. With this plan, users get 2GB of data per day. Post-FUP speed is the standard for all – 80 Kbps.
- INR 997 prepaid voucher: The INR 998 prepaid voucher provides the users with up to 250 minutes of free calling every day. Alongside that, there is 3GB of daily data. The validity stands at 180 days. Alongside the calling minutes and the data, the voucher comes with free SonyLIV content access, PRBT, and Lokdhum content.
- Revised 399 STV: Alongside the plans mentioned above, BSNL customers now have access to a revised INR 399 STV plan which comes with 1GB of daily data and 100 SMS per day with free PRBT benefit. The validity of the plan is 80 days
These are the new and the revised plans that the BSNL has recently introduced. BSNL is amongst the major telecom companies in the country. That, however, has not been able to stop it from facing the recent market pressure as it has announced that it will raise the tariff prices in the upcoming days. In the latest verdict, the Supreme Court has asked the telcos to pay all the dues to the Department of Telecom (DoT) within a period of three months.
