Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, abbreviated to BSNL and the largest state-owned telecom service provider has launched a new prepaid plan to take on competing telecom operators like Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vodafone Idea in India.
The new plan, which costs Rs 666 offers 2GB of daily data, along with 100 SMS per day is valid for a period of 110 days. Let’s take a closer look at BSNL’s Rs 666 prepaid recharge plan and its benefits.
BSNL Rs 666 Plan Benefits
The new BSNL prepaid plan has a 110-day validity duration from the date of activation. The plan includes a 2GB daily data cap for the duration of the plan, which resets every midnight.
You will need to re-charge your SIM if you want to utilise the internet at a fast speed once the data cap is reached. In addition, the telecom operator now provides unlimited free calls to any network, as well as a daily free SMS limit of 100 messages, much like the other options.
Unlimited calling will be available the plan duration post which consumers would have to top up their plan in order to make an outgoing call. Customers who use the plan will receive free PRBT, a free Zing Music membership, and a free Hardy Game subscription.

Following the hikes in prepaid recharge plans by private cellular providers such as Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vi, BSNL has been quite active. The state-owned telecom operator has also launched a Rs 499 prepaid recharge plan that includes access to internet capped at 2GB/day, 100 free SMS daily, truly unlimited phone calls, and free access to BSNL Tunes and Zing. The Rs 499 plan lasts for 90 days.
