BSNL has introduced a new Rs 797 recharge plan in India. The state-owned telecom operator is offering 2GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS/day for the first 60 days with the plan.
Post the first 60 days of recharge, customers will be required to either top-up using Talktime or data packs. Let’s take a closer look at the Rs 797 recharge plan from BSNL and its benefits.
BSNL’s New Plan Offers 395 Days of Validity
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, abbreviated to BSNL has announced a new Rs 797 prepaid plan in the country. The new offering comes with 2GB of daily data validity, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS/day for the first 60 days. The plan is valid for 395 days from the date of recharge.
Once the data limit is breached, the speed reduces to 80 Kbps. Users can recharge with data addon packs to resume their regular internet speeds. The benefits of the plan are only effective for the first 60 days, after which they will expire, but the SIM card will remain active and capable of receiving incoming calls.
The company is also offering an additional 30 days of extra validity to customers who recharge with the plan until June 12, 2022. To recharge their BSNL SIM with the new plan, users can go to the company’s official Recharge Portal or download the BSNL Self Care application.
This might just be the right plan if you’re looking to keep your SIM card active. By August 15th of this year, BSNL expects to introduce the long-awaited commercial 4G network in India, as well as the 5G network in Non-Standalone (NSA) mode.
BSNL also recently introduced a Rs 666 plan in the country, offering a 110-day validity duration from the date of activation and a 2GB daily data cap for the duration of the plan, which resets every midnight. The recharge plan also offers unlimited calling and 100SMS/day similar to the newly arrived Rs 797 offering.
