Bharat Sanchar Nigam (aka BSNL) in a new move has extended the availability of its promotional Work@Home broadband plan across the country. The promotional offer comes with internet access to all its landline users without charging extra amount. Today the company has announced that the plan is extended until December 8, which is great news for subscribers who don’t have a broadband connection. Alongside, BSNL has also announced the extension of Rs 499 Bharat Fiber broadband plan until December 12th.

However, the catch is both these offers are not available on a pan-India basis and available for selected circles only. On its Chennai site, BSNL has posted that the Work@Home promotional plans are extended until December 8 across the nation except for Andaman and Nicobar circles.

When COVID-19 pandemic happened in India BSNL and all the companies went on strict work from home mode the telco introduced this plan back in March. Initially, the promotional offer was limited until 90 days to help employees who work from home. Later the offers get few extension after the trial of 90 days.

To recall, BSNL’s Work@Home offer comes with 10Mbps download speed with a daily cap of 5GB data consumption. After exhausting the daily FUP the speed drops to 1Mbps.

Do note that the company is not asking for any service or installation charge for the proving free internet. However, customers have to use their own Wi-Fi modem to avail the broadband offer. The plan is only accessible for one month from the activation date.

BSNL Reintroduces 40 Mbps Plan at Rs 499

Meanwhile, the telecom operator has also extended the CS337 plan for Bharat Fiber subscriber in Kolkata, Sikkim, and West Bengal until December 12. According to Telecom Talk report, the CS337 plan comes with a benefit of 300GB data. The broadband plan delivers a speed of up to 40Mbps. The plan was first introduced as a promotional plan back in December 2019, ever since the telco is extending the plan.

Finally, BSNL on September 9th removed the pack from the portal and relaunched the plan with a price tag of Rs 499 only for Kolkata, Sikkim and West Bengal. The monthly plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network across the nation.
