Call of Duty Vanguard Open Beta Weekend 1 was a PlayStation Exclusive, meaning, only PS4 and PS5 owners who had pre-ordered the game were able to get in on the beta and experience Vanguard in its current state. However, Weekend 2 is scheduled to go live tonight for Xbox, Battle.Net PC in Early Access, and an Open Beta for PlayStation users.
Depending on the platform, Vanguard Beta Weekend 2 be live from Thursday, September 16, 10 AM PT/ 10:30 PM (Indian Standard Time) through September 18, 10 AM PT/10:30 PM IST in either Open or Early Access Beta. For PS4 and PS5 owners, the first two days of Weekend 2 are Open Access, which means no pre-order is required.
Whereas for those on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC (via Battle.net), the first two days of Weekend 2 are considered an Early Access period – meaning they will need a pre-order code in order to play.
Call of Duty Vanguard Open Beta Weekend 2
The first couuple of days of the Weekend 2 beta will be considered Crossplay Beta Part 1, while the rest of the two days are considered Crossplay Beta Part 2. Meaning, players will be able to play with other Call of Duty players on different platforms between PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The second part of the Crossplay beta begins on Saturday, September 18, 10:30 PM Indian Standard Time to Monday, September 20, 10:30 PM IST.
Crossplay beta part 1 will begin with a new map and new mode, in addition to Champion Hell as well as Patrol, Team Deathmatch, Domination and Kill Confirmed across various maps such as Hotel Royal, Red Star, and Gavutu. Search and Destroy will be available starting September 16, along with a brand-new map – Eagle’s Nest.
Starting September 18, two more featured playlists will become available: a Solos version of Champion Hill, and a 24/7 Team Deathmatch playlist on Royal Hotel and Eagle’s Nest with Combat Pacing set to Blitz.
