The Canon PowerShot V10 has been officially launched in India and will be available starting June 2023. The compact camera has been priced under Rs 40,000 in India. With the new launch, Canon aims to revive the compact camera segment, which is believed to be a thing of the past. Instead, Canon is aiming the content creators and vloggers with the PowerShot V10. The new camera flaunts three microphones, a flip display, a retractable stand, a 1-inch CMOS sensor, and 4K recording capabilities. Canon PowerShot V10 Launched: Price in India
Canon has launched the PowerShot V10 in India with a sticker price of Rs 39,995. While the camera has been officially launched in the country, it will go on sale in India starting June 2023. The camera will be available at Canon stores and all leading retailers (offline and online). Canon is offering the new camera in a single black and silver colourway.

The Canon PowerShot V10 is a compact camera measuring just 63.4mm x 90.0mm x 34.3mm and weighing 211 grams. The new launch is reminiscent of the old flip video cameras, with a flip display and a retractable stand. The compact form factor makes it ideal for content creators and vloggers. Whether users make long-format or short-format content, the PowerShot V10 will cater equally to all kinds.
The camera has a one-inch-type sensor featuring a fixed 19mm equivalent f/2.8 lens. It offers 13.MP effective pixels for movie recording and 15.1MP effective pixels for images. The camera can record up to 4K videos at up to 30 fps and click stunning, low-noise footage with vivid colours, thanks to the impressive lens on the latest launch. The camera lens is also packed with face tracking autofocus, specified frame autofocus, movie digital image stabiliser, and up to one hour of video recording. There is a built-in large-diameter three-element microphone that offers noise cancellation to produce clear and high-quality audio.
Canon has also packed the camera with as many as 14 colour filters, Movie Auto ND filter, and 14 kinds of aspect ratio markers. Additionally, the PowerShot V10 comes with support for direct live streaming to Facebook or YouTube via the
Camera Connect app. The same app also lets you transfer videos and still images on the camera to your smartphone without hassle.
Connectivity-wise, the Canon PowerShot V10 offers Wi-Fi(IEEE802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth LE 4.2, HDMI Micro, a 3.5mm stereo mini jack, and a single card slot. It comes with a USB Type-C port for charging, which also doubles up as a plug-and-play USB connection to use the camera as a portable web camera.
