Carl Pei announced his new venture late last year. The CEO has remained tight-lipped about the company’s first set of products, until now. Pei revealed the name of the company’s first product via a blog post. He revealed that Nothing will announce a pair of truly wireless earbuds as its first product. Nothing is calling it the Ear 1. The CEO did not reveal any details about the upcoming Nothing product.
A recent teaser revealed that Nothing’s first product is designed in collaboration with Teenage Engineering. Ear 1 is expected to have some key elements of Concept 1, which was teased in March 2021. The concept was designed based on three principles – Weightless, Timeless, and Effortless. “Design is still top secret but what we can tell you is that Ear 1 combines notes of transparency, iconic form, and refined functionality. It is the starting point that will define the artistry, confidence and craftsmanship that will carry our products and services for years to come,” Pei said.
The official launch date remains unknown. However, Pei has confirmed that the company will unveil its first product in June.
