Celebrate New Year’s Eve With Google Virtually on YouTube

Google is sending out invites for the virtual New Year's Eve party on YouTube.

The new year is knocking at the doorstep and now it’s time to say goodbye to 2020 and welcome the new year. Due to the current COVID-19 scenario mostly all the countries are making sure to avoid mass gathering and main social distancing. Physical parties are mostly impossible to conduct so to make the new year interesting Google is sending out invites for the virtual New Year’s Eve party on YouTube to Indian users. The company is calling it the Hello 2021 India, the premiere of the virtual party will start at 11 PM IST on December 31 (tomorrow). Here’s a closer look at the Google invite.

According to the invite, popular celebrities like Badshah, Jonita Gandhi, and Tiger Shroff will perform in the virtual party. Meanwhile, popular stand-up comedian Zakir Khan will host the entire show, the search giant has also launched a party popper icon on the search bar. 

To enjoy the party popper added by Google you need to search ‘New Year’s Eve’ on the Google search bar and you can see blue and yellow confetti filling your screen for a few seconds. You can also click on the blue and yellow party popper to watch the virtual celebration. The party popper also emits the sound of popping and hooting to deliver a realistic feel of party popper.

The entire new year virtual party will be held on YouTube and the channel can be accessed by opening Google search page and tap on the link available just below the search bar that says “Hello 2021: Join YouTube’s New Year’s Eve party tomorrow”.

Do note that the New Year’s Eve party is going to be presented by YouTube Originals. A popular singer like Aastha Gill, Benny Dayal, and Akasa, music band Thaikkudam Bridge, and actress Alaya F are also going to be the party of the virtual party.
