Nagesh Kukunoor’s City of Dreams, a mystery-crime web series in Hindi, debuted on Disney+ Hotstar on May 3 of 2019. Hotstar Specials City Of Dreams Season 3 coming soon,” a post read on the streaming giant’s Twitter account. The series’ first name was Mayanagari. One of Nagesh Kukunoor’s team members, Rohit Banawlikar, had the idea for the show. They both contributed to the writing of the anthology, which was meant to be a film. However, it was transformed into a web offering as the demand for digital platforms in India increased.
