CMF by Nothing Set to Launch in India on September 26
The CMF by Nothing is a sub-brand of Carl Pei-led company. Pei says Nothing and CMF are separate brands sharing the same DNA of design-led and user-centric products. Nothing will focus on premium products with an emphasis on design innovation and the latest technology. On the other hand, CMF will focus on ‘clean and timeless’ design at an affordable price point to reach a broader user base.
The brand has announced that the new sub-brand will debut in India on September 26. The initial product lineup from CMF by Nothing will include a smartwatch, TWS earbuds, and other accessories. The company has confirmed that these products will be available online on Flipkart and Myntra. They can also be picked up offline from Vijay Sales and a select few stores.
A previous leak has given insight into CMF Watch Pro, Buds Pro, and Power 65 GaN charger. These products have been leaked in renders showing a bright orange colourway. Apart from the renders, the complete specifications and Indian pricing have also been leaked.
CMF Community Review Program Announced
Besides the CMF launch date, product lineup, and availability, the company also announced its new CMF Community Review Program. In the Nothing Community Update Q2 2023 video, Pei emphasised the consumer-driven approach of the brand, and the Community Review Program is a step in that direction.
According to the company, the CMG Community Review Program is intended to support up-and-coming tech enthusiasts and content creators. As part of the Community Review Programs, a select few users will get to try all new CMF products ahead of the launch. They will also be encouraged to share their feedback, reviews, and product-based content with the tech community.
Interested users will have to head to cmf.tech to sign up for the program. Upon completing the program, they will get access to CMF products ahead of the rest of the world. The company will also feature their content across its official social media handles.
