ColorOS 12 Beta and Stable Update Roll Out in India: List of Supported Devices, Release Timeline, and More

Two A series phones, two Reno series phones, and one K series device are set to receive the stable update in June.

ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 was announced back in October 2021. Ever since the update new version was announced, the company has been busy pushing out the update to its smartphones. Now, Oppo has announced the list of devices that are eligible for both beta and stable versions.

In India, one device is eligible for Android 12 beta, while five phones are eligible for the stable version of the ColorOS 12 based on Android 12. Two A series phones, two Reno series phones, and one K series device is eligible for the stable update and one F series device is set to receive the beta update in India this month. Here is the timeline and schedule.

List of Oppo Devices Eligible For ColorOS 12 Based on Android 12 in June

Stable Version

  1. Oppo Reno 7 5G (From June 15th)
  2. Oppo A96 (From June 15th)
  3. Oppo K10 4G (From June 15th)
  4. Oppo Reno 10x Zoom (From June 28th)
  5. Oppo A76 (From June 29th)

Oppo Devices Eligible For ColorOS 12 Based on Android 12 in June

Beta Version

  1. Oppo F21 Pro 5G (From June 23rd)
  2. Oppo Reno 7 Z 5G (From June 23rd, Indonesia)

The stable version will be pushed out in batches and it will take a few days for all users to get the update. To check for the latest update on your Oppo phone, you can open the Settings app and check for the software updates.

Apart from these aforementioned phones, currently, the stable version is being rolled out for the following phones.

  • Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G

  • Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G, Reno 5 5G, Reno 5 Pro, Reno 5Z 5G, Reno 5, Reno 5 Marvel Edition, Reno 5F
  • Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G, Reno 4 Pro, Reno 4Z 5G, Reno4, Reno 4F, Reno 3 Pro, Reno3
  • Oppo F19 Pro+, F19 Pro, F19, F19s, F17 Pro, F17

With ColorOS 12, Oppo also announced some changes to the update cycle of the device. The Oppo Find X series devices will be eligible for three Android updates as well. The company is also promising two Android updates for Reno and F series devices. Lastly, the entry-level and budget line-up phones under the A-series will get one major Android update. Other phones launched after 2019 are eligible for three major Android updates for devices launched after 2019.
