ColorOS 13 update is coming to more devices starting April 21. OPPO has already rolled out the latest Android 13-based update to its flagship Reno 8 series and other Reno devices, along with several F-series and A-series devices in January, February, and March 2023. More A-series devices will get the ColorOS 13 Beta update in this cycle. OPPO has also announced the rollout of the official build of the update for several smartphones, including the OPPO Pad Air. OPPO has announced that the official and beta update of the latest ColorOS 13 will continue rolling out to more OPPO phones in India. With this rollout, even more OPPO users will be able to experience the new Aquamorphic design and other features that the ColorOS 13 brings. Notably, some of these devices in the ongoing list have already received the official ColorOS 13 update. These include the latest flagships, Reno8 Pro 5G and Reno8 5G. The OPPO Pad Air also received the official update in February 2023.

ColorOS 13 Features

The ColorOS 13 comes with several new features. The most prominent one is the Aquamorphic design, which brings a complete overhaul of interface visuals. According to the brand, the new Aquamorphic design offers more natural and vivid animations. OPPO has also introduced a new eco-friendly Always-on display with Bitmoji support.

OPPO also highlights enhanced efficiency, privacy, and security offered by the new update. There’s an automatic pixelation feature for chat screenshots to hide personal and sensitive data. Additionally, the update supports Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to encrypt all files for enhanced security of private files.

Other features include better power management, Quantum Animation Engine, liver order tracking on the lockscreen, HyperBoost GPA 4.0, multi-screen connect, and more.
