Oppo‘s proprietary Android skin dubbed as the ColorOS is soon going to see its latest iteration. The company has finally confirmed that the ColorOS 7 is going to be unveiled on November 20. Amongst a bunch of promotional videos for the same, some live shots of the ColorOS 7 UI have also got leaked that give us a working clue as to what we are going to get with it.

It is worth knowing that the ColorOS 7 is likely to run on top of Android 10.

Color OS 7 – leaked screenshots of the UI

Starting things off with the lock screen, the ColorOS 7 will come with a new charging animation and new transition animations. Even the lock icon for the facial unlock mechanism has got a redesign.

Moving on to the home screen, we can see that the leaked image suggests that there won’t be an app drawer, but it is more than certain that users will have an option to get back the app drawer from the settings menu which has been the case with the previous iteration of ColorOS as well.

The notification drawer has also got revamped as the major content has now been dragged down to the very bottom of the screen which would make it easier for the users to switch the toggles and access the notifications, much like the one found on Samsung’s One UI.

Furthermore, we will be getting the floating apps feature as we can clearly see in the image (wherein the calculator app is being used in a pop-up view). Moreover, we will get certain new quick tools which can be accessed by swiping from the right corner of the device running on ColorOS 7.

The recent apps tray has also got a slight revamp in terms of the looks. Whether or not some new features will be added in this regard is not known as of now.

Judging by the videos the company has been posting of Weibo lately, we can clearly make out the ColorOS 7 will be, well, full of colors.

In another video, the company has further teased that the ColorOS 7 will come with a new version of the Game Boost feature.

Here’s the video showcasing the same.

Recently, Realme‘s CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed that the Realme devices would indeed run on the ColorOS 7 in the future. He further mentioned that the UI will be almost stock-like. Judging by the screenshots that have got leaked, it appears that the ColorOS 7 will be anything but near to stock Android, so we can expect to get a more customized version of the Color OS 7 for the Realme devices. That said, this is not confirmed as of now, so we might as well take it with a pinch of salt.

As of now, this is all we know about the upcoming ColorOS 7, but we are sure to get more information about the same in the coming days.
