Coolpad Cool S launched in Nepal as the new mid-range smartphone from the Chinese brand. The handset offers an interesting design language like L-shaped camera module at the rear and punch-hole display upfront. The handset comes loaded with MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, 48MP quad-camera setup, 25MP front-facing camera, and more. Coolpad Cool S price, availability

The Coolpad Cool S price is NPR 22,595 in Nepal, which roughly translate to Rs 14,133. The handset is available in Night Black, Lapis Blue and Moon White colour options. That said, there is no information about the Coolpad Cool S India price and availability.

The Coolpad Cool S comes with a standard design language. The back panel offers an L-shaped camera module at the top-left corner of the rear panel. The front panel offers a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The right side features volume controls and power on/off button, while the left side faces a fingerprint sensor. The placement is quite odd in our opinion as most of the phones come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right side.

The Coolpad Cool S flaunts a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The phone gets its power from the MediaTek Helio P60 processor. It packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The memory is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

In terms of optics, the phone comes with a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary lens with Samsung GM1 sensor and f/1.8 aperture. This is by an 8MP ultra-wide lens with 120-degree FoV, f/2.0 aperture. You also get a 5MP macro camera and 0.3MP sub-camera. On the front, the handset comes with a 25MP selfie shooter.

The Coolpad Cool S packs 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The handset runs on Android 10 operating system with the company’s custom UI on top of it. In terms of connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.
