The Telugu actor Nani’s film Dasara is finally making its Netflix debut in Hindi. The movie is now available for streaming on the popular OTT platform. The streaming giant already the movie available in other regional languages on April 27. Dasara, a film directed by Srikanth Odela, is set against the backdrop of the Singareni coal mines in Telangana.
Early comments on Dasara on Twitter show that Nani and Keerthy Suresh’s film was successful in the OTT arena too. Both Nani and Keerthy Suresh’s flawless performances and Srikanth Odela’s directorial debut left Twitterati speechless. The film is a major smash by Telugu movie standards, which caused streaming companies to scramble to acquire the film’s digital rights.

The storyline claims that Dharani (Nani) has had many fears since he was a young child. He enjoys being silent in awkward circumstances, and as a young child, he struggled to stop urinating even if he heard a cat scream nearby. Nobody is surprised to see Dharani wandering about with bottles dangling from his waist after learning from his grandma one day that she takes alcohol to cope with fear. His closest friend, Suri (Deekshith Shetty), is someone for whom Dharani will do everything. Even if it means, putting Suri before his love for Vennela (Keerthy Suresh). Village electoral politics and the fights associated with it are central themes of the movie.
Apart from Nani, who plays the lead role of Dharani in Srikanth Odela’s historical action-adventure film Dasara, other actors include Dheekshith Shetty, Keerthy Suresh, Samuthirakani, Shine Tom Chacko, and others. This film was made by Sudhakar Cherukuri with assistance from Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas. Santosh Narayanan composed the soundtrack and background music for this film, and Sathyan Sooryan of ISC handled the cinematography. Planning the stunts for this film involved collaboration by Real Satish, Anbariv, and Navin Nooli. Thota Srinivas wrote the movie’s dialogue.
Reception
According to reports, the film has already generated more than Rs 77 crore locally and Rs 113 crore globally. Dasara has Keerthy Suresh as well; it is her first pan-Indian film. Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi are the five official Indian languages that the pan-Indian film was released. IMDb has given the film a 6.8 out of 10 rating.
