
The Telugu adaptation of the popular British comedy series finally has a release date on OTT. Dead Pixels, the Telugu-based comedy series, will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on May 19, 2023. The adaptation is the brainchild of BBC Studios India and Tamada Media. The series has been directed by Aditya Mandala and is written by Akshay Poolla.

Official Trailer and Plot
Dead Pixel’s official trailer has been also revealed online. The trailer shows the life of four friends who start playing an online video game. The trailer gives a teaser of their lives and how it is affected by continuously playing an online video game. The trailer also reveals innovative ways through which each character manages his/her life while getting addicted to online video games.
Niharika Konidela plays as Gayathri, Akshay Lagusani as Bhargav, Harsha Chemudu as Anand, Sai Ronak as Roshan, and Bhavana Sagi as Aishwarya in their pivotal role. The series is directed by Aditya Mandala and is written by Akshay Poolla. The DOP of Dead Pixels is Fahad Abdul Majeed, while the music director is none other than Sidhartha Sadasivuni. The series has been co-produced by BBC Studios India Pvt Ltd and Tamada Media Pvt Ltd.

The trailer of the series has got some decent reception. The trailer got roughly 30,000 views since it is uploaded on the platform.
