Prime Video had announced earlier announced that it will release a series named Dead Ringers on its platform and fixed an April 21 streaming premiere date for all six episodes of the limited series starring Oscar winner Rachel Weisz in the double-lead roles of twin gynecologists Beverly and Elliot Mantle. Weisz also serves as executive producer of the project that’s created, written, and executive produced by Emmy-nominated writer and playwright Alice Birch (“Normal People,” “Succession,” “The Wonder”), who is also the showrunner. Weisz, a British native, was nominated for an Academy Award for best supporting actress in 2019’s “The Favourite” and won the category in 2006 for “The Constant Gardener.” Dead Ringers is her first television project after more than a decade, as her last television production was, “Page Eight,” a political thriller produced by the BBC in 2011. She has been married to current James Bond Daniel Craig, since 2011.
Today, Prime Video released the teaser trailer for the highly anticipated psychological thriller Dead Ringers. The tweet of the platform reads “The Mantle twins are going to change the world forever watch Dead Ringers on Prime, Apr 21,” creating much buzz among the audience.

When and Where to Watch Dead Ringers
Amazon Prime announced that all six episodes of Dead Ringers will premiere on April 21 exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Dead Ringers Official Trailer and Plot
Prime Video launched the official trailer of the series and the trailer shows the twin sisters taking on the world, with their unconventional wisdom and medical prowess to highlight the situation of women’s health care in the system.
A modern take on David Cronenberg’s 1988 thriller starring Jeremy Irons, Dead Ringers will feature Rachel Weisz playing the double-lead roles of Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes—including pushing the boundaries of medical ethics—in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront.
The series’ ensemble cast includes Britne Oldford (The Umbrella Academy, American Horror Story: Asylum) as Genevieve, Poppy Liu (Hacks, Better Call Saul) as Greta, Michael Chernus (Severance, Orange is the New Black) as Tom, Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty, Saint Maud) as Rebecca, and Emily Meade (The Deuce, The Leftovers) as Susan. Sean Durkin directed the first pair of episodes of the series and co-directed the last episode, also serving as an executive producer of the series. The directing team also includes Karyn Kusama, Karena Evans, and Lauren Wolkstein. The series is co-produced by Amazon Studios and Annapurna Television.
Reception
Termed a horror-thriller, the series Dead Ringer is much anticipated by the fans, as can be gauged by the 914k views; the official trailer has got within 16 hours of its launch of it.
