The support team of Disney+ Hotstar replied to users that the streaming service is witnessing unforeseen technical issues across their apps and web.

The company further added that their team is working on this to ensure the issue gets resolved. Netizens replied that the outrage went on for 45 minutes, missing significant parts of the match. The streaming giant hasn’t revealed any official reason for the outrage of service. Many reports on the web suggest that Disney+ Hotstar’s domain had expired.

The expired domain was the reason for the outrage. The company might have renewed the domain to solve the outrage issue today. There were many tweets regarding the domain’s expiry, suggesting that the streaming service could’ve down in many other countries too.

Another user on Twitter suggested that the outrage was related to Argentina’s NIC (Network Information Center Argentina). Since Disney+ Hotstar is yet to comment on the situation, we don’t have much information about the outrage.
