Smartphone maker Realme had launched the DIZO Watch just about a month ago, and the company is already working on a newer version. According to a landing page on Flipkart, the DIZO Watch 2 and the DIZO Watch Pro are set to be launched in India on September 15. The page also reveals the specifications of the devices, and gives us the price tag for them. For the uninitiated, DIZO is a new brand under Realme, which was announced earlier this year. The company will sell more ecosystem products under the brand, similar to accessories and other products sold by Xiaomi.

DIZO Watch 2 and Watch Pro specs and features

The DIZO Watch 2 has a 1.69 inch touch screen display, which the company says is the biggest in this price segment. It has a square dial and looks somewhat similar to the Apple Watch in the pictures, though we would warn against expecting the same build quality at this price point. It also has over 100 watch faces, allowing users a level of customisation, and will support up to 5ATM water resistance. A blood oxygen sensor is also included in the device, along with a heart-rate tracker and more.

Further, it seems that the display on DIZO Watch 2 will have 600 nits brightness, and a 260 mAh battery that the company claims will last up to 10 days. Sleep tracking, menstrual cycle tracking and support for 15 outdoor and indoor sports modes is also included. However, the DIZO Watch 2 won’t have a GPS chip, which could be a downer for many users.

That said, the DIZO Watch 2 is priced at Rs. 3,999, which could make compromises more understandable. Having said that, it’s worth noting that this isn’t the final price of the device, so we’ll have to wait for the official launch before confirming the price. The Watch 2 will be sold in Classic Black, Ivory White and Silver Grey colours.

The big difference between the DIZO Watch Pro and the DIZO Watch 2 seems to be in the fact that the Watch Pro has GPS support, which makes it more independent from the smartphone.
