Dyson has announced the launch of its Purifier Cool Gen1 air purifier in India. Dyson Purifier Cool Gen 1 comes equipped with the company’s core filtration technology, and HEPA filters. The air purifier is said to deliver over 290 litres per second of airflow for effective purification of an entire room.
Anticipating the rise in outdoor AQI (Air Quality Index) in winter, Dyson said in a press release that its Purifier Cool Gen1 is capable of efficiently capturing 99.95 percent of pollutants as tiny as 0.1 microns, thanks to its HEPA H13 filter. The Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 is available at a discounted price during the festive season in India. Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 is priced at Rs 39,900 in India. However, the company is offering a discount of Rs 7,000 during the festive period, bringing down the effective price of the air purifier to Rs 32,900.

The Purifier Cool Gen1 sports an LED screen, which can be used to view indoor pollution levels in real time. The air purifier can automatically detect particle pollution. It offers a Night Mode for quieter operation settings and a dimmed display, as well as a sleep timer function to automatically shut down the air purifier.
It alerts users when it is time to replace the filter, which makes the maintenance easier. The air purifier is also said to eliminate allergens and bacteria and capture gases, odours and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compound); as part of cleaning the air.

The Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet, which was launched earlier this month, has been designed for larger spaces up to 1076 sq.ft and it uses Cone Aerodynamics to deliver 10-meter projection. It is priced at Rs 68,900 in India. Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde and Purifier Cool air purifiers are priced at Rs 49,900 and Rs 33,900 (festive deal) respectively.
