Elden Ring Speedrunner Completes Game in a Lightning Fast 2 Hours 30 Minutes Time

Speedrunner blitzed through the game and skipped all secondary bosses.

Elden Ring has been out for a while and the game, much like FromSoftware’s entire catalogue up to this point, is sufficiently challenging. The game makes a few compromises to the usual FromSoft structure, but it is undeniably challenging – forcing players to push beyond what they might feel is the breaking point.

However, as is the case with FromSoft games and games of that nature, there is someone out there who does a 0-hit or no damage run. To take things further, this particular player has not only been able to complete a run of Elden Ring without dying, but they have also done so in 2.5 hours only.

Speedrunner, ‘niko bellic‘ was able to absolutely blitz through Elden Ring and complete the game in under 3 hours without dying once.

Elden Ring Speedrunner Finishes Game in 2.5 Hours Without Dying Once

‘niko’ was able to accomplish this feat by only focusing on the primary bosses required for the main quest and essentially skipped past all open-world bosses such as Agheel The Flying Dragon. FromSoft speedruns are often some of the most entertaining ones to watch but given just how expansive Elden Ring is, this particular run is that much more impressive.

The game isn’t quite as linear as previous games from the studio, which is exactly why a speedrun of this calibre is getting the kind outpouring of appreciation and acclaim that it is. In our review of the game, we went into detail as to why the game might be slightly less challenging than previous FromSoft titles, but even then it is still quite an imposition.

Elden Ring is available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Windows. The game is a fantastic action RPG that makes a bold claim for Game of the Year, perhaps even for one of the best games ever made.
