We’re into April and a slew of new OTT releases are hitting the different platforms this week. The Mandalorian on Disney+ Hotstar is still ongoing and nearing the end. Like the previous week audiences at home have a host of new shows and movies to expect this week.

Ayothi
Directed by R. Manthira Moorthy, this Tamil movie features M. Sasikumar, Preethi Asrani, Yashpal Sharma, and Pugazh in the lead roles. The story centers around a man entangled in a criminal case under unexpected circumstances. Despite facing numerous obstacles and detractors at every turn, he fights to clear his name and save himself from the dire consequences of false accusations. A group of pals decides to play the ghost game in order to find out whether ghosts are real. But their experiment is abruptly stopped when they see a ghost in their own room.

This bengali detective show is about the legendary sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The show has been directed by Sudipto Roy and features Anirban Bhattacharya as the detective along with Ridhima Ghosh and Bhaswar Chatterjee. This is based on the story Byomkesh O Chiriyakhana by the writer and the show is set in the 1930s and around the bengali scthetics of the time. This serves as the eighth season of the series.
